Can I charge my smartwatch on the wireless charger pad?

No, most smartwatches, including Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch, use custom chargers and aren’t compatible with standard Qi pads. Our tray works best with Qi-enabled phones and earbuds.

Do I have to charge the product itself?

No. The product isn’t battery-powered. Just plug the cable into a wall adapter, and both the tray and wireless charger work immediately.

Is assembly and tools required?

No. It’s fully assembled right out of the box — just place it down, plug in the charger, and start using. No tools required.

Can I charge multiple devices at once on the charger pad?

No, the wireless charger pad is built for one device at a time.

Do I need to install any apps to use NFC?

iPhone Users: No download needed — Apple includes the Shortcuts app on every iPhone running iOS 13 or later. It lets you create powerful automations using a simple visual editor.

Android Users: Just install the free NFC Tools app from the Play Store. It’s easy to use and lets you program actions like app launches, links, or custom text.

We include a quick-start guide with your tray, and you can watch our own CHI Home tutorials or search YouTube for step-by-step videos (especially helpful for Android). It’s truly simple, no coding required.

Will this actually stay balanced on my couch?

Yes, as long as your couch arm is 3.5" to 14" wide, it grips firmly with no wobble and is secured. Should fit most if not all couches.

IMPORTANT: Not for skinny arm office chairs and thin balconies , it will fall. Works best on couches and bathtubs.

Will it support my laptop size?

We recommend laptops that are around 14 inches wide from side to side (35.5 cm) for the best fit.

Even if your laptop says “16 inches (40.6 cm) ”, that number is measured diagonally across the screen, like drawing a line from one corner to the opposite corner. So most 16-inch laptops are still about 14 inches wide, which fits perfectly on the tray.

Will it scratch or damage my couch?

Not at all. It’s designed with smooth bamboo edges and a non-slip silicone base on the clamps to protect couch materials and table surfaces, also keeping it stable from tipping over.

Can it charge my phone through a case?

Yes. It will charge through almost all cases, please be aware that charging speeds could be slower for thicker cases.  As long as your case is under 5mm thick or less and doesn’t have magnets or metal inside.

Do you include the USB power wall adapter in the box?

No. For best results, we recommend using a 20W USB-C wall adapter. It's not included. Most modern phones include these kind of wall adapters, you probably have extra in your home already!

Can I customize each NFC sticker for different actions?

Yes, you can program each one differently. For example: 1 to launch ChatGPT, 1 for Ambient smart light control, and 1 for music or TikTok. They will come as 3 separate stickers you can attach anywhere on the tray. We recommend the same areas shown in our images.

Should I buy a bundle and gift the rest?

Yes! Each unit in a bundle comes individually boxed and ready to give as a gift!

How do I maintain and clean the tray, is it water resistant?

Yes, we recommend using a damp/wet cloth and wiping the bamboo surface after removing the wireless charger component.
